Adrian is a fully registered psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia. He is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society. Adrian is a registered Medicare Provider. He is also a Certified Gottman Therapist. Adrian assesses and treats both male, female, and other clients, from the age of 16yo and up.

Adrian has been practicing psychology since 2003. He has a Bachelor of Psychology, and a Master of Psychology (Forensic Psychology). He has had extensive clinical experience in a variety of settings – including the hospital system, Corrective Services NSW, Community Corrections (Probation and Parole), and several private practices. Adrian, and his wife, Kerrie, are Owners/Directors/Principal Psychologists of Motivating Minds Psychological Practice (MMPP), and its sister practice, Motivating Marriages Psychology (MM). Adrian and Kerrie established MMPP in 2008.

Adrian practices from several treatment modalities, and treats a wide range of psychological disorders and mental health issues. His preferred treatment methods are: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Radically Open Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (RO-DBT), Gottman Method Couples Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

Additionally, Adrian is a Certified Gottman Therapist, which required him to complete Levels 1, 2, and 3 of the general training in Gottman Therapy, and then to have completed two years of supervised clinical practice under a Gottman Master Trainer, and to have been assessed as competent in the practice of Gottman Method Couples Therapy by the Gottman Institute, based in the USA. Adrian utilizes his Gottman skills in his therapeutic work within both MMPP and MM.

Adrian has a compassionate, gentle, and professional approach to his treatment of his clients, and meets his clients at their stage of change. He enjoys seeing his clients make positive progress in managing and/or overcoming their psychological and emotional distress, and living their lives the way they intend.

Adrian is an enthusiastic acoustic and electric guitarist. He loves to play the blues on his guitars, and also on his piano. He enjoys spending time in the garage on his woodwork and metalwork projects. Adrian is often found designing on his 3D software, and 3D printing odds and ends for around the house, and little toys for his nieces and nephews. He and Kerrie love their drive holidays, and going camping and 4WDing on their rural property.
